I must also add that the overlay does not modify DLL or EXE files and does not inject code into CSGO, so it is pretty clear to think that if the program is not bannable the application inside it shouldn't be too and nobody posted anything about being vac banned for overlay in cs go except a thread about Rust banning anyone that uses it but also without proof of people actually being banned. The 'What is VAC' section states that X-Fire or Overwolf will NOT trigger a VAC ban.
If he is not good enough to play the game without cheating, perhaps he should consider a different game? Yes I am talking about counter strike and I did some digging and I found out this : Some things seem to not get recognized for years. Sometimes it takes weeks or months until you get the ban.
I want to get a crosshair overlay, and I've heard that you can use Mumble overlay to do it without it being detected as it's a VoIP programme. However, the problem with that is that Rust detects it as a cheat if you are using a third party one that you installed yourself. Publicado originalmente por ZanyScum:I am not sure what game you are talking about, but AWP ans scout point to one of the CounterStrikes. With the recent removal of lazy aim, crosshair overlays are now accurate on Rust.
